A part of the Blueprint for Health grant consisted of a community project. DC3 met with local schools to address educational needs and assist with resources in Priority Area One: Promoting Educational Enrichment. DC3 partnered with Rosenwald Elementary and Middle School in Society Hill in March 2021 to create a school garden and Open for Community use walking track and books to expand existing literacy program(s). A ribbon cutting and announcement for the upcoming outdoor community walk trail located at Rosenwald Elementary will is scheduled for August 26, 2021. Rosenwald Elementary and Middle School.
